Mysterons
From today Big Jeff (below) reverts to Bristol Jeff as my two and a bit years working in Bristol comes to an end. It has been great and I'm sorry to be leaving the town, as Sian said it's not going anywhere but I'll miss the opportunities the town has to offer. I'm certainly not going to miss the commute as we slide into Winter and the train service falls apart. What's been really great spending a good length of time in Bristol is getting the opportunity to know how it works and what it's about. Yet every time I think I know the city you can be guaranteed it'll be surprised and I will literally be down a dead end, scratching my head and wondering where the hell I am. I love living in Cardiff but Bristol does have a more edgy atmosphere and is a little more artsy. During the Winter months I'll spend at least three evenings running through Temple Meads station drunk in a desperate dash to get my last train home.
So yes, lots of things I'll miss and lots of stuff I'm happy to have done.. I've made some good friends here, I'll miss meeting up for lunch with my mate Steve on a Friday afternoon. I've had an exhibitionat Baristas. I sort of know my way around and had lots of lovely lovely gigs. The gigs won't come to complete stop, but I can't see them being as plentiful. Onwards and upwards to the next challenge!
