Heavy Love
At the end of last year I set myself the goals of - by the end of this year – having had a solo exhibition in London and having a polished second draft of my fourth novel “Oblivion Black”. The novel is coming along, but slowly, I have moments of productivity on it but I do need to be more disciplined with it. However the great news is that I am going to achieve my first goal already!
The lovely people at Happenstance asked me if I wanted a two week exhibition in London next month. I jumped at it despite knowing that it would involve a lot of organisation on my part, but hey these things always do, seize the day! If it had been the start of Feb I doubt I would have been able to get my shit together in time, but that extra two+ weeks is just enough. The lion share of the show will be made up of ‘Glow’ series of paintings (see Blog post one below) but I’m also including a large version of my ‘untitled’ painting.
The exhibition will be at the One Hundred Years gallery with the opening night on Thursday the 19th of February from 6pm. Can’t wait! Lots to get done! Hopefully on the train back and forth to London I can get some work on the book done.
